What happens when you visit E40 Waterway Notes.
Counting visits
We count visits with an analytics provider based in the EU: which page was opened, the site you came from, country, browser, kind of device and how far you scrolled. There are no cookies. A random visit number is kept in your browser's session storage and is gone when the tab closes.
Asked first
Visitors in Europe are asked before anything is counted; without a yes, nothing is sent. The ‘Statistics choice’ link at the foot of each page lets you change your answer.
Hosting
Like any host, ours keeps ordinary server logs (IP addresses, requested pages) for security and upkeep.
